To Keep Me From Becoming Conceited: A Thought Experiment

Sometimes, God guards us from ourselves through our weaknesses. The very thorns we pray for God to remove may be God’s grace to us, for the sake of our souls. God only knows who we would be not only apart from the saving grace of God, but for these gracious trials from God.
