I’ve written a book for those who, like me, have struggled with anxiety, guilt, and scrupulosity in our pursuit of God—whether it’s been recognized as perfectionism or not. 

The Christian who, in his earnest desire to please God, has a hard time believing that the Father is actually delighted in him. 

The believer who, for all her heartfelt attempts at obedience, is constantly disheartened by her doubts, failures, and wanderings, perpetually afraid she’s going to miss God’s will.

To the burdened, the weary, the deeply loved who don’t always feel that way: Our God is much wiser, kinder, loving, just, righteous, patient, and good than we could have ever hoped. And I believe with my whole heart that Jesus’ promise of rest is for us.
